August 21, 2011 – Dr. Maguire has several radio, TV , and public speaking engagements coming up:

- Aug 22 (tomorrow) on the G. Gordon Liddy national radio show at noon EST. They will discuss the dangerous shortage of cancer medications in the U.S.

- Aug 31 (next Wed) at the Gibson Cancer Center in Lumberton NC and the Donayre Cancer Center in Whiteville, NC. Dr. Maguire will present “Difficult Discussions in Late Stage Cancer Care” with the cancer center staffs (sponsored by Eli Lilly).

- Sept 1 (next Thurs) on WECT TV, Carolina in the Morning will visit Dr. Patrick Maguire & his colleagues in urology, Drs Peter Zeman and Roc MacCarthy, in the operating rooms of New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Viewers will get to witness two surgical procedures, brachytherapy (radiation seeds) and robotic prostatectomy, live between 7 & 8 am. Preoperative interviews with the two patients will likely occur between 6 & 7 am.
